I've been married 9 1/2 years ~ I'm pretty proud of that. It might not seem long to some (and it might seem like eternity to others) but it's been a great ride. Through it all : financial stuff, kids, and just the plain grind of every day...we've done pretty good*!* Just about 2 years ago I had sort of a revelation about this whole marriage thing ~ it's the advice I give to anyone getting married or in a serious relationship...LAUGH*!* Life hands us serious enough stuff every day... just try not to take things too seriously {"Life's too important to be taken seriously"-Oscar Wilde} . We don't waste our time with stupid arguments (unless I am truly right :) or squabbles that will just end up in hurt feelings. Who wants to waste energy on that kind of stuff anyway? We just try not to go there...
ANYWAY...
Thought for the day: Laugh...it just makes things nicer!
My favorite prayer ~ The Serenity Prayer:
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.
The most wasted day of all is that one which we have not laughed.
-Sebastien Chamfort
I think I could use a good laugh right now..........(yikes*!*)
*I want to add a SUPER THANK YOU to my brother-in-law Dallas. I had seen the fantastic "little black box" on Patricia Roebuck's blog and (Ooooooo...)I had to have one! So thanks Dallas for adding music to my blog! {and putting a smile on my face!:}*

That picture is hilarious!! I've seen that in my house all too often!
I'm lucky that Todd and I have such twisted senses of humor. We can laugh at about anything. It does help, that's for sure!

This is incredible...take that LAUGH sign to other places and take pictures...it really makes a statement in these pics!
So glad you got your black box too. Took me forever to figure it out...was making harder than it was. I love music too and even more so lately. Makes me think of school days, school friends...and I also have my emotional feel good or just angry songs...but good therapy to get it all out!
