Day 8 & 9

Note to self:

1) Make sure next time a journal challenge rolls around, a decision is made before hand as to what journal to use.

2) Don't decide to use your daughter's old, black and white marble, hard back composition book (because you realize that it will look AWESOME with the host's {Rhonna's} drop dead journaling prompts) that you will have to every day glue pages together (and let dry), gesso (and let dry), paint (and let dry), journal with extra special awesome pen (that has to dry), and expect to be able to keep up.

3) Don't be so hard on yourself and enjoy every stinking single minute of it.

Something exciting has happened.....
My journal is being featured on Cookie Sunshine's blog today! How stinking awesome is that? She wrote some really super nice things about my little blog and I feel like a rock star...without all of the camera flashing and substance abuse...
Yippee! Thanks Miss Cookie :)

Last but not least:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my big brother Jason!

You were/are the best "freak your little sister out by hocking a luggie, dangling over my face and sucking it up at the last minute before it drops right into my eye" big Brother ever!

Love You :)

Hello! I am over at 2Peas doing the 21 Day Challenge . . . actually WAY behind . . . anyway, just hopped over to check out your blog and realized you also live in FL in PNS? Stop by my blog if you get a chance. I live right outside PNS. So cool . . . I saw your Mardi Gras pics and there was a pic of Krewe of Lafitte (which my dad is in). Hope you'll stop by and say hi!

Congrats on all your recognition. Your journal is absolutely gorgeous!

Lovin' the journal!

Hey! Special people are born on the 19th. Hubby's B'day was today too! He hasn't done the luggie dangle to me though. Darn.

NO WAY! Your brother shares my birthday! That's too cool (and that's now 2 people I "know" who share my birthday)! Only the smartest, best looking, funniest people are born on March 19th:).

Your journal is really gorgeous. I'm loving looking at it every day.
