We got out to the beach a couple of weeks ago after a stormy day or two and got to see the Gulf in rare form.
Brown, choppy water. We don't often get to see waves like this.
We didn't go in the water of course (the red flag was flying) but the girls had a blast running around and playing in the sand. Spring break is this week so hopefully we'll be able to visit the beach and stick a toe or two in the water.
I got a chance to take some photos just for fun while we were there...
...it's been a while and I forgot how much I really enjoy it.
Taking photos *just because* makes my heart so happy.
I'm hoping with my girls home this week and the wonderful weather, I'll get a fun photo shoot in. It's been WAY too long. I'm so excited just thinking about it!

Have I ever told you what an amazing photographer you are?? Gorgeous pics and how lucky are you to live near the beach?? I'd trade the dull flat prairies for beach anyday you lucky girl!!!!
