Isn't this the cutest dang dog ever?
Man I love our Annie. Seriously, she is the best : )
This is one of my favorite shots of her. Just because.
Here is a shot of Mal's room with the headboard before it started getting sanded. I really like it a lot but it just sort of disappears on that white wall. Still don't know exactly what I'm going to do, but the kiddo is stuck on green and I also like the idea. The branch on top of her valance (I made the valance from her no longer needed crib skirt ; ) is going to have some fabric flowers adhered to it and maybe one or two hanging down on some fishing line. I'm hoping it makes that wall look *full* when I'm done. Yes, I know that shade is not attractive (I should have rolled that sucker up for the photo) but her naps went from one hour to TWO after that tacky thing went up.
I promise you, I would cage fight any interior designer who told me I had to take it down. ; )
Both of my girls have *memory shelves* in their rooms. It's just a shelf that runs the length of one wall, about a foot from the ceiling. On it, we put little memory items...little *happys*. On Mal's, those first two items are the kitty I used to sleep with when I was small and Hubby's Joey from when he was little (they are both PRETTY mangy). The little brown, round Hummel music box (to the right of Mal's 1st Easter bucket) is the gift Hubby's Grandfather brought to him in the hospital the day he was born. I LOVE that stuff. If I'm a pack rat, it's because I'm sentimental. It shouldn't count as pack-rattness (not a word I know) if you keep sentimental treasures. Right? Who's with me? (Someone...anyone?)
I'm wondering if my Mother-In-Law noticed this on her gift yet.
I LOVE to punch with PURPOSE ; ) !
Wow, that whole post was insanely random. This school year winding down has my head spinning! (I love having an excuse.)
On to Tuesday!

Yeah! A new post! I can't wait to see what you do with the headboard. The paper doll picture is just adorable over her bed matching the green polka dots on her bed.
LOVE the memory shelf..mangey stuffed animals hold the most memories... and was enchanted by the little butterfly gift to your MIL!
Yes I did notice..I knew it was done with purpose. I love the whole thing, my all time favorite colors, in the shape of flowers with my two beautiful girls.. what's not to love. MIL
Oh. I. am. with. you.
Period. :) Totally adorable room. I have my teddy bear from my childhood. Except I don't trust my kids with it. She's in MY room. lol
