bleh....

I hate posting when I feel crummy...

My baby (who's 3) doesn't fit in my lap anymore when we're in the rocking chair. Our nightly ritual includes book in the rocking chair, my bad singing in the rocking chair, and snuggling, you guessed it, in the rocking chair. She can no longer get comfortable in my lap in said rocking chair. Last night she wanted to do the nightly ritual in her bed (*sniff*)...

I have a huge mound of a zit on my forehead. Huge. I look like I'm trying to sprout a horn like a unicorn. I also found my first grey hair yesterday...what the h*ll?!? Makes no sense.

I must go...I have a date with "Nutmeg color #24"...

Sorry you were so sick last night. Funny how we were both crummy. I think I ate something bad at Golden Corral. Blech.

My hair has been going white since I was 16. I just found a white chin hair.

Your first gray hair??? My hairdresser showed me my first gray hairs (yes, hairs) when I was 19. Yep. Now there are so many I HAVE to color my hair every 6 weeks. And I'm younger than you. Be thrilled it took so long:)

But I do feel you with the baby growing thing. Ellie turns one on Friday, Blake is 5 in a month and Ty is growing like a weed. It's definitely bittersweet.

Sorry you don't feel well...but you're not allowed to complain about A grey hair...I've had them since I was 14...color tip...Garnier Nutrisse all their colors are named after chocolate...which is ALWAYS a good thing...I'm chocolate peanut butter...I'd say you're chocolate caramel....

Aw, sorry about the rocking chair easing its way out of your routine. They really grow too fast.

My 7 year old curled up on my lap this morning and I enjoyed holding him SO much. It had been awhile.

And forget about your hair - the grey will make you look wise :)

And the zit will make you look like a teenager :D

My husband's whole family has trouble with acne (as teenagers AND adults - how sucky is that?). So when my husband got a zit a few weeks ago he said, "Today the part of Dylan will be played by a teenage boy." And I laughed. A lot.

Hope you feel better. I didn't post for like 8 days about two months ago because we were all sick. We miss you, but we also understand.

Hey, I remember the first grey hair find. It was a pretty moment and actually took it pretty hard. I haven't seen my real color since that day.
As for the breakout. I got that one after my second kid. I guess it was payback for not having an acne problem as a teen. I have found that Acne-Free found at Walmart, works great and has cleared up that problem and is much cheaper then Pro-Active.
I do have to say doesn't Lazy-boy chairs make a large rocking /reclining chair. Just for the fact when you outgrow a regular rocking chair. Just a thought. Another thought be the fact that tomorrow is going to be another boring Monday with no Deck of Me prompt. So Sad!
Take Care

Poor baby - try some Vicks on the zit.

I love your holiday gifts...what's a big kick?
I got a Cricut, and loads of cool paper and some awesome AWESOME punches. So, yeah, I know about the paper addiction. I have a sticker letter addiction too. If the letters are sparkly, ohhhh, the thrill of it all.

I'm not a Nutmeg color #24, more of a medium brown. Plain, like me.
The color of a mouse, or a football, or a groundhog.

The girls are growing fast. Stop and enjoy them every so often will ya! We just can't tell how much you love them! {snicker}

You just found your first grey hair?! You have amazing genes! I want some. I have a date with dark blonde every 4 weeks (although hubby swears it's every 2) due to all my grey hair. They seem to increase in numbers on an hourly basis.
