So yes, Mallory's birthday was days after Christmas...
But, as usual, we waited to celebrate. Sort of a smaller affair this time (a bit more room to move around in our house) ...but no less festive!

The theme for this year's party was Gnomeo and Juliet...so fun!
What do pennants have to do with that? Well, nothing. I just love them. So I made some : )

Scrap fabric, twine, a big fat sewing needle, a template made from a cereal box, and
viola.

Felt butterflies from the dollar store. So. Cute.

The Gnome Garden : )

The cake turned out so cute! We (my MIL and I) used some printables I found on this site and some great gnomes and critters bought from hither and yon.

I adore a good gnome.
This party was fun to put together and Mallory LOVED it : )

Oh, and I found my (*ahem*) curtains a week before the party (after 2 years of looking).
SO happy! Mommy's been waiting on THAT present for a looooong time ; )

My baby had a great day. She was so sweet and appreciative of everything she received...I love that SO much about both of my girls.
Mal was especially excited to find out that YiaYia was taking all of us here as her big birthday surprise! Mal was too little to go last time and she is counting down the days (made MUCH easier by YiaYia's calendar and sticker countdown ; )

I'm getting used to editing photos on a laptop. I think.
It is really hard for me to see true color though...anyone else?

Hope all of you are enjoying spring!!!

You are so creative, Di!!!! All the details are amazing. I love the photo of the cake and gnomesville next to your plate wall. You should go into party planning!
